Stock Ink Colors

Our stock colors have been carefully selected. If you are concerned about the particular shade of a color we recommend that you come view a physical swatch of the ink in person. Although we have listed the closest Pantone number, Stock colors are factory mixed and do not come with Pantone specifications so we cannot guarantee an exact Pantone match with stock ink colors.

Custom Ink Mixing

We mix custom ink colors in house which saves our customers time and gives us better quality control. For color matching we use the Pantone Color Matching System (PMS). The Pantone system is used across the globe by designers, brands, corporations, and governments to ensure color consistency between the design process and the printing process. The idea is that two people in two different places can be looking at and referencing the exact same color as long as they both had an up to date Pantone book and were looking at the same PMS number.
Your computer screen probably won't display Pantone colors correctly. In order to really view a Pantone color you need a Pantone book. Some colors in particular look way off when displayed on screen.

That being said, sometimes a computer screen is the only thing available so to get a general idea of what any particular color looks like we have provided a Pantone color chart in PDF format.

If the ink color is critical we strongly recommend coming in to view the ink color or Pantone book in person.
